Pistons + Peonies started with a simple mission: to destroy the barriers women face in the motorsport world. What began as a passion for speed and moto culture turned into a full-blown movement. We’re not just selling apparel; we’re redefining what it means to be a woman in motorsport.

Our founder, Taylor, has been drag racing with her dad since she was a toddler—racing is in her blood. She could never imagine a life without it. But what really lit a fire was seeing how women in motorsports were treated. Taylor was sick of men reducing women to their looks and hearing how they talked about female racers as if they took shortcuts for sponsorships and opportunities. That’s when she started an Instagram page to feature women for their minds and achievements, rather than their bodies. It became a platform for showcasing talent, sharing advice, and creating real connections. Women from all corners of motorsports found each other, collaborating, supporting, and pushing the boundaries of what they could achieve together.

When COVID hit, Taylor’s dad sold everything, and she had to figure out how to stay a part of the racing world while making a difference. That’s when she realized the industry was missing something—killer apparel. And that’s how Pistons + Peonies was born: as a way to create something that speaks to the fierce, badass women of motorsport.

We don’t do cookie-cutter. Our team lives and breathes the need for speed, and that’s reflected in everything we create—from our high-performance, moto-inspired apparel to our community that lifts up women from drivers to photographers. We’ve shattered stereotypes, won some hearts, and created a tribe that’s about more than just racing; it’s about empowering women to own their space.
